Thew new blogskin is really going to take some time.
I'm still fiddling around, brainstorming and throwing different ideas here and there.
So I'll continue blogging then!
Yea well the weekend was awesome. I went to Yus's house on Friday for a sleepover thingy along with Vig, Dinesh, Luo Er, Ah Pie, Jason and Cheryl. Jason and Cheryl didn't stay but we still had a great time catching up and all that.
Then we watched Marley & Me and Fight Club.
Marley & Me was... ok lar. I wouldn't say it's fantastic or 'kick you in the croth spit on your neck fantastic', but it's worth watching.
NOT for dog lovers though.
You'll probably sob at then end and annoy the less sentimental ones beside you. That means you, Janet Yu.
Oh I remember my old teacher from Cat High, Mrs Mel Neo, who told us that she cries at almost every sad movie. And her other teacher friends or non teacher friends would look at her and be like, "whaaaaaat??"
Ok maybe not in such a african american way, but they would be look at her in this incredulous manner and wonder why the heck she's sobbing at... er... Moulin Rouge or smth.
Anyway, Fight Club was.... exhausting. Hahaha.
Seeing people beat each other up until their noses bled and their faces became some sort of mush was really exhausting to watch. Cos everytime you're like "Ugh!" when the guy gets smashed up.
And at first I thought it was some psycho show with all the violence but at the end (or what was the end for me) I realised... 'Ooooh so it's like that lar'.We stayed up all night and I was so exhausted on Saturday morning that I cabbed home and slept till 4pm.
Then I woke up and rushed to meet SCC people for dinner. (Bryan, Ms Ai Yun, Gary, Dannie, Luqman, Burton, Pei Hao)
We went to some weird but nice place at Taka that named it's dishes after fairy tales.
So it's something like,
"Hey can I have a Thumbelina please?"Mine was,
"Can I have The Last Viking?"Haha yea but the food's not bad. Expensive but not bad.
So after that (stop narrating ugh) we went to Yello Jello, the retro bar at clark quay, and tried to talk to each other above the blaring music.
All in all, it was a really fun day.
I took the Sunday to rest, thank goodness.
The moon got lost again last night...
I guess I feel alright...
The fresh awakening of the day, the brand new revelation of things.
How the poets yawn and the grasshoppers sniff at the futility of these.
Maybe we should not be afraid to express, to put forth our most random thoughts.
Flip.
Flop.
Look down.
Look up.
Walk forward,
laugh.
Drop.
