I'm currently using my dad's com to blog. It turns out that my com was so "knocked up" and old that a new one has to be purchased, as the repairs itself would cost even more than if we were to buy a new com. It'll probably be sometime next week so I won't get to use my com for another one week at least.Aurgh.

No matter, life still goes on.

Well I haven't really been updating about my life, so here goes:

The
past few days have been really packed and so hectic that I really had to time to even turn on the computer. We were preparing for the PAC opening and stuff so that took up most of my time. The PAC opening was the J2's final performance before that stepped down. It was a load of fun preparing for it because there was no pressure on to get EVERY SINGLE note in tune, with people dropping out here and there as compared to the 2 competitions. At those times, stress levels and the pressure to do well were there, so it was a lot less fun than now.

I came home at about 10++ on Wednesday due to the PAC opening rehearsal. It ended very late and it was really tiring. However, my teachers excused those who were involved in the rehearsal from homework the next day. Thank God for that. I think I would have just fell asleep on my table if I stayed up to finish theEoM and the tutorial outline.

Thursday WAS the actual PAC opening, and it felt sad yet incredible to perform as the complete 07 choir batch for the last time. I know it's very like, sentimental and stuff but it has been a very fun journey with the choir so far, going through theSYF and the Slovakia trip. It's a really "sigh" moment to see the seniors go, but I guess it has to happen sometime so there's really no use gettingemo or sad about it. I myself have really made some great friends in choir, and I really hope that we
would all be able to remain in contact even after they step down.

Oh and I enjoyed the performance. Our performance I mean. Lol. Yea we did Lonesome Road, Sarba Dance, and Pie Jesu. Pie Jesu was my personal favourite, followed by Sarba Dance (cos I love the stomp ending). Before we learnt Pie Jesu, I listened to the Sarah Brightman version and it became my favourite classical song of all time. Seriously. That's why I say Andrew Lloyd Webber's really a musical genius. A creative genius actually, to be able to come up with both brilliant musicals and incredible songs.

Friday was the J2s last day, hence the farewell ceremony. Well not really a
ceremony. Anyway, I really enjoyed it, and it turned out to be not asemo as I thought it would be. Although we were termed as an "emo choir" by our conductor. Haha. The J2s prepared 2 hilarious and sentimental videos, one with Isaac's imitation of Mr Toh, and the other with Isabelle's imitation of Ms Lee.

Isaac and Isabelle are really the 2 most hilarious people in choir. Everything that they say and do just crack me up. From Isabelle's mad imitations to Isaac's insanely contagious laughter.

Anyway, so after all the videos and stuff, we the J1s gave out our individual letters and cards to the J2s. Then we ate cake and finger food from Old Chang Kee. Well the cake was from sweet secrets. (I can't imagine a cake from Old Chang Kee)

After everything was over, I went for dinner with Daniel, Sharifa, and Yu Kang at TP Central. We chatted all the way till 10 before going home. It was fun chatting about the choir and all the happenings. Not reminiscing, mind you.

Well I'm not going to run for Ex-Co. School's hectic enough and I don't want to take on a whole lot of responsibilities that I'm not able to manage. I don't want to be an SL or ASL either. Just a "normal" choir member, as Sandler puts it. Although I'm pretty sure she'll be given a leadership position. You can do it Sandler! Haha...

I went out with Colin and Martin yesterday to watch The Simpsons. It was better than I expected. Some parts were really laugh out loud funny. The best thing about The Simpsons is that the jokes are so crude and unexpected. That's what sets it apart from the other comedies or cartoons. I think the writers of The Simpsons are a bunch of crazy and fun people. Lol perhaps one of the things I must do before I die is meet them. Along with Jim Davis, The Archie Comics team, Christina Aguilera, Amy Lee, Richard Marx, Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightley, Jim Carey, the person who came up with Lemon Tea, John (one of the 12 disciples), the cast of Friends and Charmed, and probably Momofuku Ando. I think these are the coolest people in the world.

Ah well, time to go! Seeya!

:)

Ok my com is spoiled and I'm using Colin's computer to blog.

Well the hardware is spoiled so I have to wait for i9t to get replaced before I can use it again. To think I bought Shock Value on that day. Hai now i have to wait for it to get fixed before i can blog again.

I feel so much better knowing that I completed my history RA (Research Assignment). According to Peter, it was hellish for them last year too. Should never have taken history, although it's better than taking geog. I never had an aptitude for geog and never will. Lol.

It's going to be an eventful week. Friday's the farewell ceremony for the J2s. I can except lots of emo-ing and tearing. Hai... I'll miss the J2s but they have to step down sooner or later. Ah well...

Tomorrow's the rehearsal for the formal PAC opening on thursday. Although school starts later on Friday, it's still going to be tiring. I'm only going to school for Chinese and GP on Friday. Feel like skipping but there's the farewell ceremony.

To the J2s, I've had a great load of fun with you guys in Slovakia and I've really learned a lot. I'm thankful for all of ya!

Schoolwork suuuuucks....

Intense mugging..

No life...

Oh something random, I woke up one morning with triple eyelid on one eye that only went away after about 15 mins. Haha it was quite ghastly but cool while it lasted. It was then that I realized I have two and a half eyelids on my left eye. I feel so mutated. LOL!

Although I've moved up to Tenor for the Christmas songs, I'm not too sure if it's a permanent thing. Hai, I just hope the bass section won't think I desperately want to move to Tenor cos of the people or whatever. Bottom line, I can't sing bass. It's not in my comfortable range.

Hmmm we kinda need a drummer if we were to form a band to take part in Rockafella next year. Anyone interested?

Ella ella ella, eh eh eh

Haha that was the annoying part that Vig had in his head during one of the mid year examinations. The song is nice but the lyrics are quite corny.

Ah well...

Now that it's raining more than ever...

Well, the last book of Harry Potter is out and I know the ending!

Yea I know, cheap thrill...

Don't worry I'm not going to post any explicit spoilers here. Although I must say Voldemort's very loser. That's all... Haha...

Oh well.

Isn't anyone tryin to find me?
Won't somebody come take me home
It's a damn cold night
Trying to figure out this life
Wont you take me by the hand
take me somewhere new
I dont know who you are
but I... I'm with you

It's like rain on your wedding day...

Just came back from yet another fun choir practice. As mentioned before, choir is really fun now without all the stress of any competitions. Everyone's relaxed and can enjoy themselves singing. The PAC opening's next week. The lunchtime concert today was great! Haha yup Ms Soh commented that she was moved by Lonesome Road. Thanks T4 for supporting me!! Haha yes it was really noticeable by all my choir members.

Oh yea and yesterday was racial harmony day. I wore this really cool all-black Indian outfit. Mel and Matt commented that it looked very matrix... Lol. I personally enjoyed wearing it. It was damn cool and comfortable as well. I will post photos as soon as I get them from my classmates. The ironic thing is that, everyone forgot to bring cameras. So dao mei...

We finally bought "The Handmaid's Tale" for the class. The book looks very interesting and I can't wait to read it. (No becks, it's not for the sex) Hey that rhymes! LOL.

I just got a new screen(monitor) and it's enormous! Yup, and I got my sis's com's sound system. It's a big improvement over my old one. "Irreplaceable" is currently playing now and the bass is awesome!

Oh great, I have a strange feeling in my throat now.

Aurgh tomorrow's PTM and I don't want to go! I don't want to spend 20 mins hearing Mdm Damo tell my parents about my horrendous mid-year results and getting scolded for not studying after that. I want to skip it, damn it!

Sharifa's going to be performing for arts week on monday! The choir's going to support her so CJcians please do attend her performance at the audi.

Take, take me home. Because I don't remember, take, take me home

I'm thinking of forming a band in class. Since we sort of have all the musicians. We can take part in Rockafella next year for fun. I told Mel about the idea and she seems pretty keen on it as well. Haha...

Now that Mr Jason Salim is the VICE PRESIDENT OF CATHOLIC ACTIVITIES IN THE STUDENT COUNCIL, I'm sure I can ask him to help me bend some school rules. Lol but it'll probably be only Catholic related.

No matter.

I'm kinda tired now so I'll end off. Have a nice day everyone!

40 cents

You're welcome.

WOW. Ok 6 people viewed my blog yesterday. 6...

Lol maybe the middle eastern/arabian theme isn't interesting huh.

Hai well now that the mid years are over, it's time to do some serious studying after reflecting on my results.

Somehow, I want to go out on saturday again. Want to watch a damn movie since I missed it last saturday.

Yup, and racial harmony is on thursday! It's the first time I get to wear ethnic costumes to school. Boring old Cat High never had that. BORING. Matthew's kinda excited about going back to school on teacher's day and so am I! Haha even though most of my teachers aren't there anymore, it's still nice to go back and pay them a visit. It's always nice to do so.

Going to study soon!

Jealous huh....

I'm seriously in love with Arabian-Dance music.

To be specific, Sarah Brightman's Harem as mentioned in the previous post. I've finally fixed the font problem. The blog can now be viewed with Internet Explorer! Haha

You take my breath away

Choir today was fun. Haha yea choir's fun when we aren't preparing for competition. It's so much beter and less tense.

I'm looking forward to the movie tomorrow. It'll probably be transformers since Martin has already watched HP.

According to him, it wasn't up to his expectations.

Oh well.

I'm currently listening to Sarah Brightman's Harem. I really like the incredible mix of Middle-Eastern themed music with Opera and Dance. The nicer songs of the album are "It's A Beautiful Day", my personal favourite, "Arabian Nights" and "Until The End Of Time". They're really really good. It's worth a buy.

8:49 PM

Yeah I'm taking the day off today to rest. I've been having very little sleep lately and I think i need today to catch up on rest and to do some overdue hmk.

I guess things have been very hectic and complicated lately. The sheer workload of school and all the other stuff is really taking a toll on me.

I'm already over the sadness and depression of losing my ipod. I'm not really the type that can stay depressed for too long. Now I'm focused on just saving up and buying a new one. I have to not spend any money, and save about $60 a week. Insane right?

Well, since it's rest day, I think I'll just end of here.

Seeya...

Wait For Me

Everything around me crumbling,
falling apart.
I hate you,
I cannot hate you,
I must love you.
Don't take me,
Don't leave me,
Get out of my head.

Suffocating, drowning
in the lies and negativity
Kill me
Stab me
Poison me
Don't cut yourself
Don't hit yourself
Don't inflict more pain.

The very essence of life being sucked out of me
Drained out, passed out, falling out
Shouts of joy and pain engulfing within my head
I see the world spinning below me
All confused, all misunderstood
Don't push me over the edge
Save me, I beg.
Wait for me.

Remove your mask, peel the paint off
Are you too ashamed to reveal what lies beneath?
Who are you to judge me
When you are just as human
Just as wretched
Just as gross and disgusting.

Wait for me.
Wait for me.

Sometimes I wish I never came to existence.

Somtimes I wish I'm not who I am.

Sometimes I wish life wasn't so difficult.

Sometimes I wish people weren't fabricated from plastic.

Sometimes I wish

Somtimes.

Well I'm still kinda sad now, but I guess I'll just try to be happy.

Just going to post some pics from the wedding

Well yea, I feel so much better now.

8:56 PM

Well.. Life officially sucks now.

I just lost my ipod. My most prized possession. The thing that actually keeps me happy everyday. The thing that I have around me almost 24/7. And this happened because of pure carelessness. Pure carelessness.

I just feel so disgusted and depressed now.

And now, I still have to contend with getting back my putrid mid year results next week. Better yet, my parents are going to get back my results from my teacher during the PTM.

I also had a small argument with one of my best friends this morning.

All this happening on the "luckiest" of all days, 07 07 07. On Matt's mom's wedding too. CHMA night too.

After realising the loss of my item, I felt so sucky I just wanted to come home.

I hate being depressed.

I hate being depressed.

Someone break me out of it.

Spectacular. Amazing. Incredible.

The Chritina Aguilera concert was AMAZING. Absolutely. I'm actually suffering from post concert blues now. Haha... Yeah it was really really great. The singing was phenomenal, the dancing was almost flawless, the costumes and sets were classy and beautiful, etc etc etc.

The obvious fan favourites were Hurt, Lady Marmalade, and Candyman.

I loved all the performances, but my favourites were Ain't No Other Man, Back In The Day, Makes Me Wanna Pray, and Oh Mother. Her voice is something you just have to hear live. It was worth every single bit of the $188 my parents paid. LOL.

I was so sad when she sang beautiful cos I knew the concert was coming to an end. Aurgh I want to go for it again!!!! AAAH!

Hahahaha ah well....

If she comes again for another tour, I'll DEFINITELY go!
