Well it's time to update again.

Basically this week has pretty hectic. It was quite hilarious on Wednesday when we got 2 teachers to postpone to tests.

During Lit Tutorial:

Anne: "Mdm Damo!!! Pleeeease! We have 3 tests today! Please postpone the test!"

*Test gets postponed

After I finish lit and walk back to class...

Mel: "Miss Narinda!!! Pleeeease! We have 3 tests today!"

*Test gets postponed

HAHAHAHA It was so hilarious cos instead of having 3 tests on that day, we had 1 instead.

School's still as stressful as ever. Luo Er and Michele are already breaking down (as seen from my tagboard spams). I fear I might be next.

Anyway, Lit night is next Friday! Woot! We all get to dress up in the gothic. Damn cool.

Mel's all excited and asking people what they're wearing. Hahahaha.

I'm going to shop tomorrow for clothes! Woot!

Oh and congrats to Jit cos Cat High did even better this year than last year. Average 9.5 INSANE. E Maths distinction rate was like 97%.

I kinda miss the crazy sec school days now, but ah well.

Well I've cut my hair again. It's too short for my liking but "I guess this proves that any look can work for me". Prizes to those who can guess where that's from! Hahaha.

I look forward to a day of relaxation tomorrow. Whee!

Onward and upward!

Just had a fun gathering just now. Took lots of photos.

Haha my delayed new year's resolution is to take more photos and upload them.

Oh and I played a very fun dota game today.

Oh but I have lots of tests next week. Damn it!

School.

Again.

Ah well, at least the past few days have been ok.

Went out again on Friday night to have dinner at BK and hang around City Hall and Bishan. I must say seeing my best friends does lift my spirits.

Well school's been relatively manageable. The work load isn't THAT bad as compared to last week's double 3000 word essays that I had to do as punishment.

Poor Jason's sick with appendicitis and has to rest at home. He has to go for surgery if it reacts! Ugh. Surgery to me is one of the scariest things after watching ripley's about that girl who woke up during surgery and felt everything but couldn't move or scream!

(Sorry Jason if this makes you uncomfortable. But oh well you don't read this blog anyway)

Well my bro's gg back this sunday. So fast. Ah well, I'm sure the US is a much more exciting place than SG anyway. There's a gathering this Saturday. Going to see little Miguel again!

I think that is like the cutest picture of Miguel I have ever taken. Haha. He's really adorable.

-----

Well I bought Final Straw by Snow Patrol today. So far so good. I really love "Run" and "Chocolate". I really recommend them for emo people. Hahaha.

However, the thing came in this packaging that was supposedly "environmentally friendly". Probably part of the Live Earth thing. I don't even get an album sleeve. ( -_-")

Cheryl: "That girl who always steal my milo!" Hahahaha

That is definitely the quote of the day.

There's quite a lot of work due on Friday so I better start cracking.

Ciao.

Ugh!

School just started and already it's so draning.

I feel like a piece of crap.

A piece of crap that was left on the street and trodden on by people and rolled over by buses.

Reality is finally hitting me.

Woohoo!

It's 2008.

I just wished Luo Er and Anne Happy New Year, but told them that it's probably not going to be very happy for us.

2007 wasn't really a very bloggish year for me, at least towards the end of it.

I guess this blog hasn't been much of a priority for me.

I kinda used it just to go to other blogs and the links and stuff. Haha.

I won't make any new year resolutions because I know I won't keep them. Heh.

Ok maybe just a few.

1. Constant revision (this is a must for A level year)

2. Keep a mohawk (LOL)

3. Keep on enjoying my last year with longer hair.

Hahahahah.

Yup.

Well Joy Song always asks me why I am so different in school and at home than at church.

I'm not afraid to admit it cos I know I have to make a change.

I guess I've kind of been the quiet person in church since Sec 1, and I wasn't willing to be crazy and stuff cos I was really used to it LOL and also cos the sudden change might be too much for others to handle. Haha.

Maybe I WILL make a change and be the same person as I am in church, home or school.

Noisy and sometimes unbearable but I rather that than quiet and reserved.

I remember when I walked into CJ early last year. I was like, I must not be so anti-social and I must dare to speak up.

I'm glad that worked out. Haha. (Mel can testify to this)

Well well.

We're done with 2007.

On to 2008.

Or like Colin would say,

Moving on....

Hmmm or maybe let's just revisit 2007 shall we?

All I can say is that I'm glad I made such incredible new friends and strengthened my secondary school friendships during the past year.

I will now say something "nice". Haha.

Everything will be in Alphabetical order. Haha.

1. My "Clique" of friends.

Colin: You mad, insane person! I'm glad that we both have managed to keep contact during 2007. You should know I was asking you if we would ever keep contact after sec school. Haha. I'm glad that you didn't spend the last few minutes of 2007 unclogging vomit from the sink like you did 2 years ago. I'm also glad that you are now doing something that you really enjoy. 2007 was hectic, with so many changes, and I'm just glad that we all pulled through (as cliche as it sounds). You better continue to be crazy this year!

Martin: BOX BOX BOX. Hahahaha I'm sure you know what I'm referring to. Haha even though I hardly take a second look at the very random messages that you send, at least you took the time to type it out. Lol. With your ability, I'm sure you'll breeze through the As as long as you put in the effort. Clementi isn't a good place to go! Although most of us don't see what's so great about the place, we all know that it's not a very great place to stay at for too long. You too better stay crazy in 2008.

Matthew: YOU! STILL OWE US LUNCH! Hahahaha. Do you realize that we've been in the same school since primary school? It's totally insane. I must say it's definitely more comforting to know that I have an old friend in JC. You of all people must admit that 2007 was a turning point in your life in SO MANY WAYS. It has been VASTLY different from secondary school. Anyway, stay fun, and continue to pursue what you love!

Yixin: Ok i know you don't read my blog, but whatever. Thanks for all the random and hilarious stuff that you still continued to do during 2007. All the mispronunciations, etc. WE HAVE TO PLAY MAJONG/TENNIS SOON! I tell you you better join us and don't be lazy! Hahahaha. Enjoy your time in choir being a BASS. Hahaha. All the best for 2008!

2. My best friends in CJ!!!

Cindy/Luo Er: Hahahahaha yes I still maintain the fact that I thought you someone from China who dao-ed me during the first few months of last year! Thanks for all the crazy times! All the random messages, PW meetings, zoo outings (ok we all only had one), etc. I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE SALEISHA WON EITHER! I AM ALSO SO GLAD THAT PW IS OVER! Hahahaha I bet we'll all be a bundle of nerves when we receive our PW results this year. I just hope we will be thankful for whatever we have.

Your bimbotic comment of 2007: "My one goal in life is to be as pretty as Chantal!" Hahahahaha.

Corinne: CORIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE! Hahaha I'm sure 2007 has been a great year for you too in many different ways! I must always end every sentence with an exclamation mark! Like you! Haha! Haha thanks too for hearing me out when I was feeling weird or random. I think the 2 words that you said most this year are "Okay Sam!" Hahaha. Stay black for 2008!

Gabriel (Biatch): My first friend in T3/4! Hahaha even though we are in different schools at this point, I'm still glad we've managed to keep contact! I still remember the first class BBQ. Hahaha how you, Corinne, Mel and I all danced to Rich Girl. Thanks for all the scandals and hilarious stuff that you told me about your SJI friends. I must say the first 3 months of last year were the best of the year. I can still remember your signature comment.

Sarcastic comment of the year: "Wow..."

Hahahahaha please continue to be the siao person that you are!

Jason: JASON SALIM! You are the only person in class who has withstood my random outbursts and crazy moments. You must have gotten a shock of your life when I suddenly strangled you. Hahahahahaha. Thanks for being my verbal punching bag for 2007. You have truly been through a lot. I also still maintain the fact that my first impression of you was an annoyingly, over happy person. Please start preparing for more insults for 2008!

Mel: MEL!!! MEL!!! hahaha I think thanks to me, 2007 has been the most random year for you! I hope you have enjoyed my random facts and strange comments. I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN YOUR NEW CRAZY PERMED HAIR! OH AND I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE PK AGAIN! I ALSO CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT IT FALLING DOWN THE STAIRS! 2008 better not be a clumsy year for you! OH STOP EMO-ING LAH! Hahaha. Turn off that music and start spewing rainbows out of your mouth! (Thanks Jenah from antm) Hahaha I think you can have an emo moment of the year.

Emo Msn nickname of the year: "So slice open my veins and let the romance bleed away".

Vig: VIG! Woohoo! Haha hey thanks for always being that philosophical thinker who intrigues me greatly with many deep thoughts. Like I told you before, you are unique. I don't think I'll ever meet someone who thinks like you. Yup I hope that 2007 has been great for you despite your drunk tendencies. HAHA. Stay focused for 2008!
-----

All right.

Onward to 2008.

To all readers of this blog: Please don't expect me to update very regularly. I can try but there are not promises. Haha.

Now.

*Drum Roll*

What is my Song Of The Year?

2006's was My Immortal btw.

What about 2007?

Hmmm.

My current Itunes Top 25 Most Played:

*2nd drum roll*

Rihanna - Umbrella

Yes I know I know. This lame, meaningless, annoying song is actually most played. I must admit it is very very catchy. I have no idea why it's at the top though. Hahaha.

WAIT!

However, even though the song is on top now, it is only because I had many changes throughout 207.

I lost my ipod for one. :(

I switched computers.

I re-installed Itunes many times.

So, Umbrella is only my most played song for the last 4 months.

It is NOT my song of the year because it's utterly meaningless. Sorry Martin. Haha.

I have 2 songs of the year.

First one:

You Take My Breath Away - Sarah Brightman

This is one because I really love this song. It is one song that I listened during most of 2007. There isn't a meaning to it however.

Second One:

Angel - Sarah McLachlan

Yup this song has really helped me this year. The whole song, the feel of it and everything just brings me comfort. The lyrics aren't exactly the best because it hints at escapism, but still.

Album of the Year:

Harem by Sarah Brightman

This album is a must have. Vig can agree with me. Nothing much to say except GO AND BUY IT.

Phew. I'm so tired from typing this long post. This has to be one of the longest posts I've ever typed.

Full steam ahead!
