Ok so the weather is back to being psychotic again.
Aaaah it felt like I walked into a pau steamer (heh) when I stepped out of the building today.
Madness.
Anyway, it was fun meeting up with Mel again on Sunday. We ate salt ice cream at Sushi Tei which is actually very nice! Yea you should all go try it. It has this slight salt taste but actually tastes mostly of butter. I'm not sure if it
IS actually butter, but oh well.
Oh and I bought headphones! Yup I remember reading somewhere that it's better for the ears as compared to earphones which project the sound directly into your ears. I heard of these canalphones which dig right into the hidden places of your ear and play music there. Quite insane if you ask me. I don't want to be deaf when i'm 50!
Haha and Vig called me just now telling me all about his army life. He was saying how time really passes by slowly in BMT. I totally agreed with him on that. I remember during my first 2 weeks time seemed to just DRAG and it seemed as though I was never going to book out.
So glad to be out of Tekong and back to Singapore. Haha.
Oh and lunch today was fun. We were
very blessed to be in the
presence of Bryan and Luqman. Hahaha.
Anyway, I was thinking about this very cliche and commonly used phrase 'actions speak louder than words'.
It really seems like we can't trust what people say nowadays huh? You sometimes hardly know whether it's a half truth, complete lie, an exaggeration, an understatement, etc
So how then are we sure of people and what kind of character they are? Their actions of course.
'actions speak louder than words'
It's really such a simple and overly used phrase, but it contains so much truth. We should always assess people by what they do, and compare it with what they say. We can say things so easily but not do them.
Hmmm.
Let's play a lovegame..
