Okok I know it's 3 weeks to As but I have to set aside some time to do this.

Graduation day was on Friday.

Strangely, it wasn't emotional or anything like that for me. Probably cos I'm going to see my classmates again tomorrow and all the way till 24th November when the As end. I'll probably only be sad or smth during prom.

JC life really whizzed by anyway.

I still remember the first day walking into the audi, feeling very apprehensive and nervous. However, part of me was excited to make new friends and go into a new school environment.

In fact, let me take a trip down to my blog archives and revisit what I really felt at that time.

Day 1 - wed 03/01
"...Anyway, the first day wasn't as enjoyable as the rest because of all the ice that was still present. Nevertheless, it was good. I ended up taking 156 home. It was such a long journey."

Day 2 - 04/01

"Today was quite ok. Very wet and messy though. IG 14 ROCKS!!!"

"I also managed to add all my IG mates on msn, and some on friendster. I hope to keep in contact with them even though we will be in different groups on monday."

Well that was the first 3 days of orientation with the IGs. It's kinda ironic that I don't even talk to any of them anymore. (Probably except for a hi here and there to Audrey Low but she was in the 2nd orientation IG). T3 (what we were called then) was the better part of my orientation.

"One thing to say: T03 ROCKS!!! Haha. I love my class. Seriously. The people are so friendly, so much fun, and great to be with. We were already chatting like crazy on the first day. Scandals also already appeared on the first day. Super funny. At first, I was a little skeptical and all about my group, like whether I could make friends or not. Thank God, really thank God it all turned out for the best. I made a good friend on the first day, Gabriel, as well as got to know some other nice people like Vignesh, Jason, Vanessa, Anne, Luo Er, Corinne, etc. (sry if I didn't mention anyone else's name, it doens't mean I don't like you!). The only person whom I knew before everything was Gerald from 3-6. I don't exactly know him very well, so I still have to get to know him better."

Haha well Gerald if you're reading this I am glad that I actually did get to know you much better. And I am still thankful to God for T4 despite so much that has happened. And Mel I think I didn't really get to know you at that time so you weren't mentioned HMPH! Hahahaha. And sry to Cheryl who WASN'T FIRST 3 MONTHS MATERIAL. Haha and to Michele sorry I still thought you were a bitch then. (I'll write the touching part later la!)

"I'm kinda tired now so I think I"ll just go through the highlights of the class orientation. I think so far, the skit and the finale night were the best. (duh) OUR SKIT WON BEST SKIT!!! WOOHOO! GO T3!!! We did this skit based on our house mascot, Maple Man. My house, Aki, is actually Jap for Autumn. Our class volunteered to be in the skit, along with some other people from other classes. The skit was super funny, must commend on everyone who was SO sporting to embarrass themselves. You know who you all are. Also, cheers to Corinne and Vanessa who wrote the script. I helped and chipped in a few ideas! haha. Yeah, they slaved for a few hours writing it and all that. I was the narrator. Lol."

At that time, I thought best skit really meant our skit was the best, but it actually meant that we were last place or third place or smth. LOL. And I'm sure Jason will writhe in horror at the mention of Maple Man (or watching it a snippet of it during graduation day LOL).

"After slacking for 4 years in the CCA aspect, I decided to be more pro-active in CCA in JC."

HOW IRONIC IS THIS HAHAHAHAHA

"School so far has been fun, I'm enjoying JC life so far. I only hope that I will get good results for the Os and be in a class that's as good and fun as this class. My Lit lecturer looks like a mad scientist! Haha... Socialising has been great too, I'm interacting with almost everyone in my class. Like Gabriel said, the cliques have already been formed, haha..."

Haha well it still holds true I guess. No guesses to which lit lecturer I was referring to hahaha.

Tuesday, January 16, 2007

"I think I will enjoy the GP and History lectures/tutorials the most. They're the most interesting. Lit, Econs, and Maths are okay..."

HAHAHAHA this is so terrible ironic. I'm sure my classmates can testify to this.

Friday, January 19, 2007

"The PE teacher made us walk up and down the steps 14 times in total. The Grand Steps. Those big ones. Totally exhausting. I was so tired after the first 4 times, I nearly collapsed. Seriously. I nearly did. I started feeling very dizzy and I saw spots in front of me. Thank God Dinesh and Gerald were there to help me, pushing me on. They also specially ran slowly to help Jason complete the run. Thanks guys."

I still remember actually saying the words "I'm dying" to Dinesh and Gerald. HAHAHA.

"One thing I really like about my class is the fact that everyone is so caring to each other, with very minimal politics."

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

"Well I'm currently waiting for Gab to send me the GP project."

Haha you should really see our GP project. Damn hilarious.

"This post is dedicated to my dearest T3.

Today, while playing captain's/net ball, I got too excited and sprained my ankle. Hurt like hell of course. I couldn't even walk. Melissa helped me buy drinks, Anne got me some food, and Jason did his indonesian-foot-massage thing. Then, Dinesh and Gerald firemen-lifted me to the stairs and Dinesh carried me up the stairs(5 stories) by slinging my on his shoulder. After school ended, Dinesh carried me down the stairs while Shermaine, Anne, Gerald, and Ah pie helped carry my stuff. Then, they all helped me to the porch and Gerald and Dinesh went to get a cab for me and told me to message them when I reached home.

Isn't T3 awesome?

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to EVERYONE in T3 for being so caring and helping me SO MUCH. Thanks for all the encouraging words and all your concern. I really appreciate it. I must say I'm really touched by my class, esp those who helped me after school. You are all truly blessings in my life and I couldn't ask for a better class than this.

I have been taught to be thankful for everything that I have, even the small things. Thank you Lord for blessing me with such wonderful people.

I really really hope that our petition to remain as a class gets through. I don't think CJ life would be even bearable without my T3 mates, even though some are leaving :(

T3, you guys are really a great bunch of people. You all totally rock!!

Thanks again."

How can I forget this day. Haha with Dinesh slinging me on the shoulder like a sack of rice. A rather heavy one. I really was thankful and I still am thankful that my classmates are wonderful people :)

Simon Cowell vs Ryan Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest : Ugh! *punches Simon Cowell but has no effect on him

Commentators: Wow! Finally a hit! That's more hits than all the American Idol albums put together!

-----

Simon Cowell: *punches Ryan Seacrest

Commentator: Wow! What a punch! It's almost as ugly as From Justin to Kelly!

-----

Kelly Osbourne: *starts throwing objects from a big box at Ashley

Ashley: *dodges all of them

Commentator 1: What is she throwing? Are those chinese throwing stars?

Commentator 2: No! It appears to be copies of her very own solo album!

Commentator 1 : Ashley better be careful, those things could destroy anyone's career.

HAHAHAHAHA ok this is not related to my class at all but I burst out laughing when I read this again so I have to put it here

"...Haha... yeah, I grabbed the bbq stuff and rushed for sunplaza to meet darling T4. I was an hour and a half late. Lol. I was the only one wearing jeans due to the lack of time to change. We bought so much food. Yus was suppose to come but she had a last minute engagement. As usual, the class teased and teased Hui Ming and Gabriel. Yes yes the joke never gets old. Haha...

The BBQ was so much fun. We camwhored like mad, took crazy photos, ate so much food, and rocked out to the music. A group of us did the mass dance! Woohoo! Haha and Corinne was teaching Gabriel how to do the new part. Lol Gabriel, Corinne, and I were dancing to "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani, then we danced to "Rich Girl" and I did the rapping part. Hahaha... Omg it was damn fun. We went to the beach and the jetty and just camwhored a lot more. I would post the pictures but I need to get them from Gab and Mel. Hurry post them!! Mel, Gab and I were like, busy observing the scandals and laughing about it. Totally hilarious. We were all busy making Gabriel-Hui Ming jokes AGAIN. Haha...

One of the funniest moments was when Ah Pie was dancing to the beat of Hollaback Girl, fanning the BBQ pit while we were rocking to it. Then he put on the shades and started being black. Corinne laughed until she was squatting on the floor. Mel send me the pics and vids!!!

Another hilarious moment was when most of the people went to the jetty, leaving Hui Ming, Gab, Corinne, Mel, and I at the BBQ pit. I looked at Mel and mentioned to her to leave the happy couple alone. Lol! Hui Ming and Gabriel both freaked and ran after us when we walked towards the jetty laughing. Then after that Mel and I were like, "Oh I need to go wash the skewers". "I'll go help you". Haha. After we left, Corinne was still there, talking on the phone. I called her and she was like "OH YEAH!". Hui Ming freaked again and held on to her, not letting her go. Hahahahahaha omg it was damn funny.

I think everybody really enjoyed the BBQ. I know I did. Can't wait for the next one. Sigh, too bad Hui Ming and Gabriel won't be with us for curriculum time. See lah! Go to AC and Nanyang for what! Haha...

Yeah and I had to walk the scary path home cos the other one had... well a lot of people who wouldn't exactly be very safe to walk past at such a late hour. Yeah so I was quite fearful so I called Gab and asked him to chat with me while walking. Then he started talking about scary stuff and I was like, STOPPIT STOPPIT! Haha... Yeah but it was really nice of him. Thanks Gab!"

Haiz reading this just made me kinda sad. I REALLY enjoyed that bbq to think about it. Back then when everything was just fun.

"...Ms Chia was so funny today. She came in during break to help the 2nd intakers with their maths. Mel and I remained in class to finish lit while she taught them. We chatted with her a little while she taught them. It went something like this:

Ms Chia: Melissa you take KI ah?

Mel: Yeah

Ms Chia: You have to write and write right?

Mel: *laughs* Yeah!

Ms Chia: I see you do now until so xing ku. Come to science lah, so much easier.

Me: *looks over and laughs*

Ms Chia: *chants while waving her maths worksheet* Come to science, come to science

*Mel and I both burst out laughing

Ms Chia: *A few seconds later* Eh Samuel you take arts ah? You don't look like those arts students leh. You have the science look.

Me: Science look? Is there such a thing?

Mel: Ms Chia so you're saying he looks like a nerd lah.

Ms Chia: No it's just that arts students are like those kind of wild, funky kind.

Mel: So you're saying that he's not?

Me: *laughs

Ms Chia: *looks exasperated but going to laugh* Melissa, shut up.

It was damn funny... Haha after she said that we were laughing and laughing cos she said it so matter-of-factly. Ms Chia's like one of the most hilarious teachers we have... Lol"
BRING BACK MISS CHIA. LOL.
