Ok i'm back... Yea I decided to just blog today, despite my hiatus.
Well I guess the past few weeks have been pretty crazy. School's crazy as usual, but I managed to clear up some stuff with an old friend at least.
I had a fun lunch with Mel Neo from Cat high, and we managed to catch up on lots of stuff. She told us lots of intersting stuff which I won't mention here.
"Yeah and you'll go back and type on all your blogs."
We ate at Fish and Co, and I must say the food's not bad. Quite good actually. Much better than Thai express, definitely. We all chipped in and gave Mel and her daughter a treat. It was fun catching up again. Here're some hilarious moments:
Me: Hey John, you know Melissa who used to be from Judo? I'm in her class. John: Huh? You're in CJ?

Me: Mrs Neo, is your change in hairstyle a symbolic gesture for your departure from Cat High, like a change in your life?

Mel: You know, because sometimes the texts that you analyse are so divorce from... Nina(daughter): Or hor Mommy you say divorce. Matheus: *bursts out laughing -----
Before that, I went back to Cat High during teacher's day. Much has changed indeed. I only managed to chat with Mr Fernandez, Mr Pillay, Mr Chen, and Xie Lao Shi (whom we met at J8), and said hi to Mrs Chew (Ex Miss Tan). It was interesting going back, taking a look at our classrooms, the corridors, the art room, the canteen, everything. Secondary school was truly memorable. So many crazy moments spent running around the corridors witnessing crazy stuff, doing outrageous things, and basically having a great time. Despite all the bad memories, secondary school was really a great time.
However, one of the things that we've learnt from Narayan is the futility of clinging on to earthly attachments. Yup. Life is about moving on yea? Even though most of us don't like moving on, especially from fantastic memories. Or some find it so difficult to move on, especially from the bad memories. We have to get along with life instead of remaining at the same place all the time.
All right, enough of the sentimental reflections.
Yea believe it or not, I actually managed to do SOME studying today.
*clap clap clap*
Hai, 3 main subjects and already I'm struggling to pass them. I think as long as I don't fail the promos I'll be fine. It's inevitable, but I'll probably grumble about school in every blog post that I have.
Ok, I resolve to sleep early today and wake up early tomorrow to study, cos I'm not someone who can study well at night.
Oh and Carrie's sophomore album, Carnival Ride, is coming out in late October. Be sure to buy it! I'm sure it'll have incredible first week sales.
