I'm currently using my dad's com to blog. It turns out that my com was so "knocked up" and old that a new one has to be purchased, as the repairs itself would cost even more than if we were to buy a new com. It'll probably be sometime next week so I won't get to use my com for another one week at least.Aurgh.

No matter, life still goes on.

Well I haven't really been updating about my life, so here goes:

The
past few days have been really packed and so hectic that I really had to time to even turn on the computer. We were preparing for the PAC opening and stuff so that took up most of my time. The PAC opening was the J2's final performance before that stepped down. It was a load of fun preparing for it because there was no pressure on to get EVERY SINGLE note in tune, with people dropping out here and there as compared to the 2 competitions. At those times, stress levels and the pressure to do well were there, so it was a lot less fun than now.

I came home at about 10++ on Wednesday due to the PAC opening rehearsal. It ended very late and it was really tiring. However, my teachers excused those who were involved in the rehearsal from homework the next day. Thank God for that. I think I would have just fell asleep on my table if I stayed up to finish theEoM and the tutorial outline.

Thursday WAS the actual PAC opening, and it felt sad yet incredible to perform as the complete 07 choir batch for the last time. I know it's very like, sentimental and stuff but it has been a very fun journey with the choir so far, going through theSYF and the Slovakia trip. It's a really "sigh" moment to see the seniors go, but I guess it has to happen sometime so there's really no use gettingemo or sad about it. I myself have really made some great friends in choir, and I really hope that we
would all be able to remain in contact even after they step down.

Oh and I enjoyed the performance. Our performance I mean. Lol. Yea we did Lonesome Road, Sarba Dance, and Pie Jesu. Pie Jesu was my personal favourite, followed by Sarba Dance (cos I love the stomp ending). Before we learnt Pie Jesu, I listened to the Sarah Brightman version and it became my favourite classical song of all time. Seriously. That's why I say Andrew Lloyd Webber's really a musical genius. A creative genius actually, to be able to come up with both brilliant musicals and incredible songs.

Friday was the J2s last day, hence the farewell ceremony. Well not really a
ceremony. Anyway, I really enjoyed it, and it turned out to be not asemo as I thought it would be. Although we were termed as an "emo choir" by our conductor. Haha. The J2s prepared 2 hilarious and sentimental videos, one with Isaac's imitation of Mr Toh, and the other with Isabelle's imitation of Ms Lee.

Isaac and Isabelle are really the 2 most hilarious people in choir. Everything that they say and do just crack me up. From Isabelle's mad imitations to Isaac's insanely contagious laughter.

Anyway, so after all the videos and stuff, we the J1s gave out our individual letters and cards to the J2s. Then we ate cake and finger food from Old Chang Kee. Well the cake was from sweet secrets. (I can't imagine a cake from Old Chang Kee)

After everything was over, I went for dinner with Daniel, Sharifa, and Yu Kang at TP Central. We chatted all the way till 10 before going home. It was fun chatting about the choir and all the happenings. Not reminiscing, mind you.

Well I'm not going to run for Ex-Co. School's hectic enough and I don't want to take on a whole lot of responsibilities that I'm not able to manage. I don't want to be an SL or ASL either. Just a "normal" choir member, as Sandler puts it. Although I'm pretty sure she'll be given a leadership position. You can do it Sandler! Haha...

I went out with Colin and Martin yesterday to watch The Simpsons. It was better than I expected. Some parts were really laugh out loud funny. The best thing about The Simpsons is that the jokes are so crude and unexpected. That's what sets it apart from the other comedies or cartoons. I think the writers of The Simpsons are a bunch of crazy and fun people. Lol perhaps one of the things I must do before I die is meet them. Along with Jim Davis, The Archie Comics team, Christina Aguilera, Amy Lee, Richard Marx, Angelina Jolie, Keira Knightley, Jim Carey, the person who came up with Lemon Tea, John (one of the 12 disciples), the cast of Friends and Charmed, and probably Momofuku Ando. I think these are the coolest people in the world.

Ah well, time to go! Seeya!
